Impressive room with an iron/ironing board, coffee/tea making equipment and a sitting area. Hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows, very comfy bed. Location so close to a castle and the grounds.

The staff were super friendly and really knowledgeable about the castle, it was such a unique experience. We loved exploring the grounds and especially the keep, so much history! Our room was comfy and the games room killed it for the kids! Breakfast was really tasty too, just an all around great stay.
The parking was limited and we had to park quite far from the entrance. Some of the interiors felt a bit worn and could use a little sprucing up.

Unique experience staying in a medieval castle. Our room had a private bathroom, comfy beds, and tons of period charm. We loved exploring the beautiful grounds and the games room was fun for the kids. Breakfast was tasty as well. Staff were super friendly.

Family with kids will enjoy the adventure
The castle is everything you would expect from a historic building, including all its little idiosyncrasies, however, made it fun. The kids loved it, they called it 'Spooky Castle' and ran riot having fun with the hanging armor and giant portraits. It was a real adventure.
It wasn't expensive, but still acceptable.

We had such a blast exploring the castle and loved the games room, which kept our kids entertained for hours! The garden area was a lovely spot to relax with a good book after our busy day. The only downside was that the parking was a bit tricky to find at night, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 😊
